Urhan Hostel is located 7 miles outside of Castletownbere on the north side of the peninsula.
It has wonderful views of Kenmare Bay and straight across to the Iveragh Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry.
The hostel is just five minutes from the beach.
Information is available at the hostel for all local activities from fishing, hill walking and horse riding to golf at the Berehaven Golf Links.
The accommodation is suitable for groups and families.
Cooking facilities are available. There is a shop and post office in the building and the Urhan Inn, which supplies soup and sandwiches, is two minutes walk.

Directions:
Turn right in Castletownbere on Eyeries/Kenmare road (do not go into Eyeries). After 4 miles turn left on the Allihies coast road for 3 miles. After passing school and pub (Urhan Inn) the hostel is next on left (same building as PO). |
