Slochd Mhor Lodge is perfectly situated in the spectacular Strathspey in the Cairngorm National Park and halfway between the villages of Carrbridge and Tomatin. The Lodge is on an ‘off road’ section of the No 7 Sustrans cycle route and surrounded by hills and forests. This is also perfect walking country and in winter there are nordic ski trails from the doorstep. All other outdoor pursuits are within easy reach.
Slochd Mhor Lodge offers a genuine welcome in warm cosy surroundings. Fully equipped kitchen with wood burning stove and a spacious dining area together with large lounge / lecture room with woodburner, tv, books and games. Other facilities include a drying room and laundry facilities, some en-suite rooms, a shower and toilet room suitable for wheel-chair users, an on-site cycle shop / workshop, MT bike hire, and in winter nordic ski hire.
