Sligachan Bunkhouse overlooks the ‘Black Cuillins’ and is an ideal base for exploring the magnificent mountains of Skye.
Several routes up the peaks pass the Bunkhouse and the path to ‘Loch Coruisk’ can be seen from the verandah.
The Bunkhouse is surrounded by peaceful mountain scenery on a track easily accessible by car.
It is only a 5 minute walk from the bus stop at Sligachan, which sees a regular bus service from the mainland and Portree.
The Sligachan Hotel can be seen from the Bunkhouse, about a 5 minute walk, and will provide a hot meal from breakfast through to dinner.
The bar is a great place to relax after a long day’s trekking and has a great display of malt whiskies and we make our own real ale at the Cuillin Brewery.
The Bunkhouse has 4 bedrooms, full kitchen facilities and a lounge with open fire.
