Skyewalker Hostel is ideally situated as a base for exploring the island and offers a very high standard of clean, cosy accommodation at a budget price.
We have a range of rooms from 2 bedded private rooms to larger dormitories (fresh bed linen provided free of charge), a comfortable lounge and a fully equipped self catering kitchen.
We also have a large garden with BBQ area, giant chess, fantastic glass chill-out dome and off street free parking. Free Wifi is available and the local hotel / pub is a five minute walk from the hostel.
Skyewalker hosts regular Scottish folk music sessions and it is also possible to book the whole place for special occasions such as birthdays, family
get-togethers, Munro completion parties, etc.

Public Transport:
Two local buses run each weekday from Portree via Sligachan to Portnalong and back. Citylink coaches from the mainland and north Skye drop off at Sligachan. Please note there is no bus to / from the hostel on Sundays. |

Directions:
From Sligachan (in the centre of Skye), take A863 for 5 miles to the turn off for Carbost which takes you onto the B8009. Proceed through Carbost to Portnalong. Alternatively, follow the green signs from Sligachan! GR 348 348 |
