The Campbell Room offers self-catering group accommodation for Scouts and other youth organisations, schools and universities, training courses, and groups of walkers, cyclists and others.
Sheltered at the mouth of a rural valley on the edge of the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the building offers a main activity hall which can also sleep 18 on comfortable mattresses, 2 bedrooms each sleeping 3, a fully equipped kitchen, washrooms, showers, drying room, a campfire area and space for 1 or 2 tents.
Many routes for walking, hiking and mountain biking pass close to the centre and a swimming pool is nearby. Groups with transport can access many attractions and activities including beaches with rock pools and fossils, the coastal resort of Minehead, the West Somerset Railway, Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Tor, Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge, Dunster Castle, Cricket St Thomas Wildlife Park, Exmoor, and the county town of Taunton.
