Predictive Results
During the redevelopment of the site we have made several enhancements to the search facility. One of the most visual changes is the introduction of the predictive results area which shows as soon as the visitor starts to type their search query into the search area.
The system starts to look through the database and refines the results shown based on the letters typed in, the more letters typed in the less results are shown. If the visitor types in a letter which is incorrect the list stays at the previous list of results.
To select one of the results, simply select the chosen result and this is placed into the search box. The visitor can then click on the Go button to go straight to the chosen result. |

Alternative Search Methods
By typing in an area (such as "cornwall" or "germany") will return results where the list generated determines a connection with a county / country and displays all the listings on the database where the county / country matches the search term.
The search results will also display any accommodation where the search term entered appears with it's name or address.
The search will also return a list of results if the visitor enters a fragment search term such as "ALT" or "SEAS", where the letters entered appear in sequence within the accommodation name or address. |
